Board Meeting Save the Date!

Hello AOK Board,

Our next board meeting is June 20 from noon-5pm at the McKenzie Center Room #2, 308 W. Elm St., Salina, KS 67401. The building is managed by the Salina Publc Library and is located across the street from the library. A lunch will be provided at noon, and we will start the board meeting after lunch. 

We will also have a nature/bird walk in the morning and social after the meeting. 

More details will follow!

I think I’m going to have to miss my first board meeting. We leave the next morning for North Carolina (driving), and I don’t think I want to spend several hours on the road the day before.

Unfortunately, I too will have to miss this meeting, as I will be on the road or in the mountains in Montana, vacationing w/my wife. I tried to plan my summer around the meeting date, as it has been on my calendar a long time, but that week turned out to be the one that she could take off work. Very sorry.

Oh Jackie.

I have the zoo scheduled.  The zoo is just off the interstate.  I will handle the food and such.  I was also planning maybe a tour of our sanctuary before or after the meeting if anyone wants to join or a tour of the museum at the zoo.  I haven't worked everything out quite yet but I'm on it if that is okay.  I'm sorry I should have let you know what I was doing.  If you want to stay at the Makenzie center that is good also.
