Memorial for Tom

AOK Board Colleagues and Jackie,

I had every intention of attending the memorial for Tom on Friday, but I am likely going to be unable to do so. My father passed away on Saturday and my schedule has been disrupted in ways I can't control. 

Many of us on the board seem to be out of state or otherwise unable to attend. Jackie, can you put me in touch with anyone in the family who arranged the memorial that I might, on behalf of the board, extend regrets for those unable to be there?

To all--I am sorry, but I regret that I will not be able to attend the celebration for Tom. As others have said, it is hard to believe we are without him now.

I'm so sorry for your loss Elizabeth.  No matter how old you are, losing a parent is harsh.  

I will be attending Tom's celebration of life.  I finding it hard to imagine him not with us anymore.  Life is very fragile.

I am so very sorry for your loss, Elizabeth.  I love the tribute you posted about him.  He was a very special man, and his was a life well-lived.

We have also had a death in our neighborhood, with a celebration of life this weekend.  I am so happy to hear that others will be at Tom’s Celebration of Life.  I know it will be exceptional and heartwarming.  We will miss Tom so much.  As suggested in his obituary, I have sent a memorial to the Topeka Audubon Society in honor of Tom’s life.
