Before I turn over the reins on my final day as manager of the Hutton Niobrara Ranch Wildlife Sanctuary, I wanted to take this moment to say thank you for the opportunity to do so when I was invited to work and live in this community in the summer of 2023.

But this isn't goodbye...though I will no longer be a member of the amazing AOK team, Kevin and I will continue leasing and improving the Lazy EZ ranch house on a month-to-month basis, for as long as AOK will have us. We will also continue our hay and grazing leases as planned and keep in touch regarding the NE lawsuit. I will continue to serve as AOK Registered Agent for Nebraska until the role is filled. It also goes without saying (but I will) that we are only a phone call, e-mail or visit away. If you'd like to keep in touch, please update my contact information to phone: #(402) 440-8612 or email: kucer...@gmail.com 

I'd also like to take a moment to share my gratitude for Harold and Lucille Hutton. The impact of their generosity is truly profound. Together, with their ancestors and others, they had a vision so powerful that it transcended time to touch each of our lives. It was a real honor to be a part of the history of this special place, as well as those in Kansas, if only for moment.

Next week, I begin work as Outreach Coordinator with the Sandhills Task Force, a non-profit created to support efforts to protect and promote the natural resources and ranching heritage of the beautiful Nebraska Sandhills. I also look forward to supporting the person chosen who will become a part of the community here and take the work we did together to the next level.

With that, one more thank you. And until we meet again, happy trails  :)
