It's officially Kansas Lek Treks week with a busy month ahead!
4/6-4/8: Pre-Festival: Sharp-tailed Grouse Tour
4/9-4/12: Kansas Lek Treks Prairie-Chicken Festival
There are two special events open to the public on Saturday, April 11:
- 1:00 PM at the Hays Public Library | The Birds of the Great Plains: Through Our Lens by Gabriel Rivera and Jennifer Blankenship
- 7:30 PM at the FHSU Memorial Union, Ballroom | Special Keynote Event: “Abundant Life: Prairie-chickens as Icons of the American Landscape” with Kenn Kaufman (see attached poster)
4/18: Earth Day at the Topeka Zoo
