2026 Committees

Hello everyone,

At our meeting on Monday, February 9, Michael would like a quick vote on a slate of individuals for chairs of the ad hoc committees.  

Attached is a table listing each committee with the chair and committee members.  

• Each standing committee has a chair and members.
• The Protected Areas committee seems to have an ample representation.  If anyone is willing to shift to an ad hoc committee, please let me know ASAP.
• We need chairs for the Advocacy and Outreach committees.  I have reached out to some individuals and have either received a decline or no response as of yet.  If you are interested in serving as a chair for one of these two committees, please let me know ASAP.

If you do not see your name as a member of any committee, please reach out to me or the committee chair to be added to one. The Board advocates for 100% member participation on committees.  For new members of the Board, serving on a committee provides a means to learn more about the organization and goals of AOK.  If you are an experienced member, serving on a committee allows your knowledge to be put to good use.
