Hello,

Could you please provide some examples about the auto archive of File Handler ?
There is nothing one the documentation.

Another point is it possible to share the documentation ?
So that we can submit some pull request on it ?

Hi,

I haven't added this to the documentation since this feature is incomplete and I couldn't tested properly.

Archiving is based on scheduler and archive jobs can be scheduled.
Once job is triggered by the scheduler, particular audit file compressed and encrypted.
After files are compressed files are stored in the same PC or remote server via FTP.

I was thinking extract this feature as a different library. What do you think?

Janith

Hello,

thanks for your answer.

I would first it should be removed from the documentation. Please see if it is possible to share it and manage pull request on it.

About this functionality you have something like that in log4j so it could be put in audit4j
see the discussion here
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/18130836/log4j-rollover-each-hour-zip-daily
So I agree with this functionality

futher you should create a list of functionalities you want to add (to have a road map).
