Hi, I am interested in learning how this technology works. I reviewed some scientific literature around audio watermarking, and the closest technique I found is named 'patchwork' in the literature. But looking at the code, 'audiowmark' seems to be different (and much better). Any specific article or book that I should not miss in my literature review, that is perhaps closer to the underlying technique from 'audiowmark'?

Hi!

We've added developer documentation recently, available here:

https://uplex.de/audiowmark/audiowmark-developer.pdf

which documents how audiowmark works internally. This should at least
give you some background when trying to understand the code.

The implemenation is really based on the dissertation by Martin
Steinebach (which is mentioned in the README) which is available as
german printed version, however it evolved into its current state, which
has a lot of different improvements over the original method.
