Bug in "single value calibrate" setting, or by design?

I use a UMIK-1 to calibrate the decibel meter.

After entering a number, the app displays it as the calibration offset.  If I want to then adjust it, the next value entered is ADDED to the existing offset, rather than replacing it.

If I want to zero the modification, a (-) of the current calibration offset must be entered.  Entering 0, adds 0 to the existing value, which obviously has no effect.

Is this the intended behavior?

It's a long time since I implemented this, but yes I remember that this is intended. The idea is if you are trying to adjust the reading against an external SPL meter, you would want to be incrementally adding (or subtracting) dB from the calibration offset as you approach the match to the meter.

Thanks for the explanation!

If there's a new version coming out eventually, maybe the instructional text can include that information.
