Would it be possible to add a function that automatically adjusts the offset?
I own a professional sound level calibrator that supports both 94 dB and 114 dB levels.
The idea is to add an automatic offset calibration function; the workflow would look something like this:
1) With the microphone connected to AudioTool.
2) Go to the menu and select "Automatic Offset Calibration" (or a better name if you can think of one).
3) AudioTool asks for the SPL level (94 dB or 114 dB).
4) You select, for example, 94 dB.
5) A prompt appears instructing you to connect the microphone to the calibrator and generate the 94 dB calibration signal.
6) After doing that, you press "Start Calibration."
7) AudioTool takes the current measured SPL value and automatically calculates the adjustment to set it to 94 dB (or 114 dB, as applicable).
Thanks in advance.
Best regards,
