Using extension cord between imm-6 mic and samsung s8 phone.

Can I use an extension cord between my mic and my phone?

I want to eq my car front door speakers but need to see phone from back seat to access my eq unit that's behind back seat.

I dont see why not. Just be sure you use a cable with a 4 position 3.5mm phone plug/jack, to pick up the mic.  A lot of the extension cables are 3 position and just pick up the headphone L/R.
