Hi

I'm trying out AudioLense XO with an exaSound 8ch DAC (using ASIO driver) and a FocusRite Scarlett 2i4 USB mic preamp.

I have "separate play & recording streams" checked. As you can see from the screenshot I also tried with WASAPI enabled and using the FocusRite through that (also tried the onboard mic just for shits & giggles). No luck, it appears that AudioLense isn't working well with the exaSound ASIO driver?

I can use this DAC fine with 4 channels (2.2) in Roon on Windows (and OSX).

Another question, the FocusRite has 4 output channels but unfortunately the monitor volume control knob only controls channel 1 & 2, channels 3 & 4 are fixed level. Ideally I don't want to adjust my subwoofer gain controls (I want to use it with the same gain setting my with the exaSound DAC and also my home theater - Audyssey calibrated) - I couldn't find a way to adjust the levels of channels independently in AudioLense, is there a way?

Thanks
Peter

does audiolense support discrete ASIO devices for playback and measurement ? or can only one be ASIO?

Only one can be Asio.

This should work, but you have to check that the default audio settings in windows matches with the chosen sample rate for the mic input. Audiolense uses wasapi in shared mode

Did you get it to work?  I'm considering this exact same set-up.

Hi Peter,

You are measuring at 48 kHz. Does that correspond with the default settings in windows? For the mic input? (Asio doesn’t care, but wasapi does)

Mvh,

Bernt
