Hi there,

I just fired up Audiolense XO and tried to load the (.txt) calibration file for my EarthWorks M30 (see snippet below.) Audiolense fails to read it. Are there any reliable tools available for converting this file to a format that Audiolense supports?

Cheers,
Marcus

You can change the extension of the file from .txt to .cal and then Audiolense will load the file.

Thanks for the quick reply! Unfortunately changing the file extension from .txt to .mic or .cal doesn't solve the problem. In both cases, Audiolense gives me "Failed to read at least 10 calibration values."

On a related note, this is what the example calibration file bundled with Audiolense looks like:

My file has two columns. First column shows Hz, second dB volts/volts. I attached it as well.

Kind regards,
Marcus

Here is my Earthworks calibration file in .txt format that works with Audiolense.  Also note that I took the last value and extended it down to 10 Hz because the Earthworks tech people said the mics were flat from their point at 700 Hz on down.  I don't know if that is necessary in Audiolense though,

Alan

You can check the frequency response in the calibration file in the main form.

Kind regards,

Bernt

Sweet, thanks Alan, problem solved.

(I copied Alan's pattern, i.e. extended the file down to 10Hz and replaced the "," with a newline. In case someone else needs another example, I attached my altered file.)
