How do I enable clock drift correction when using asio4all for measurements?
Thanks,

Audiolense has to see that two different devices are used. Asio out and winmme in, for instance. I don’t know how A4A works in this situation. You’ll have to try. You know the clock drift is engaged when you get an extra sweep in the measurement.

Hi Bernt,
Tried enabling separate streams, but with asio4all there is no extra sweep. I get various error messages when trying to use separate streams, with a4a It works reliably except for clock drift.
Thanks

Would it be possible to turn on CDC globally in the future? Most likely would have purchased if this was working.
Thanks,

Hi Scott,

yes, when separate streams is enabled, errors may happen and the measurement must be repeated. I experienced much less errors selecting Winmme as input, so no Wasapi, nor Direct Sound, and of course my ASIO device as output.
Give a try... ;)

Yes. The next release is likely to be Audiolense 5 with major changes to the correction engine and a few other things.  The option to enforce CDC has already been programmed, and the sync function has been improved as well. So what you ask is guaranteed to appear.

The plan was to release some of this around last Christmas, but due to various circumstances I decided to go for some very fundamental changes that also appeared to be very time consuming to implement.

I will get back with more details on this when the time is right.

This is very promising Bernt! I bought an Spectrum-lab calibrated EMM-6 mic last year and have used a filter made with this mic since then. Sounds very very good! I am sure the new correction engine will produce even better results.
Before that I also used a Dayton EMM-6, but with the Dayton supplied calibration. This is not a precise calibration and sound quality suffered. I strongly recommend getting a mic with a properly done calibration file.
