Audiokit Playground run errors: symbols fail to load

Anyone have some basic trouble shooting steps to follow to make the Audiokit playgrounds to work consistently.  It seems sometimes I've got them built and running but then I can get errors and they're fail to run at all.

Playgrounds have been flakey since about Xcode 8.  I think its because we're a framework, because I can't get them to behave badly otherwise.  My experience is that I am lucky if I can get through 4-5 different ones before I need to restart Xcode. 

This is the kind of question that is perfect for StackOverflow, btw, so I've asked the question there as well, since I also don't know the answer!
