AudioKit newbie: How to combine example programs Recorder and MicrophoneAnalysis

Hi Experts, 

  I am trying to combine the example programs Recorder ( which records a file and plays it back) and MicrophoneAnalysis( which does the pitch detection as well shows the audio in a nice rolling graph).   I've been trying but all I get is a crash. 

Greatly appreciate any  coding thoughts on how to combine these two programs.
