Hi,

Have updated to Audiokit 4.0, and in my app, when i connect/disconnect bluetooth headphones for the first time, it works fine. But when i disconnect/connect the second time, it shows the below error. I have tried removed audioRouteChangeListener but still getting this issue.

App_Name(1433,0x16f37b000) malloc: *** error for object 0x11fe3f2a0: pointer being freed was not allocated

*** set a breakpoint in malloc_error_break to debug

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Kunal

I have attached the issue in the screenshot below. which I was able to see with the AudioKit-develop framework usage. And in the log, it shows the above message.

That's dying inside of an operation generator, so something about the restarting of AudioKit is not properly reseting the operations. I'd love to take a look at your project if you can share.

Sorry for the delay in uploading the project. And in the meantime, I discovered that this issue occured on iphone 7 only and not on ipad air 2. It works completely fine on ipad air 2 without any issues.

Here is a test project. Very similar to my project.

Best,
Kunal

Hi Aure

I tried the yesterday updated AKOperationGeneratorDSPkernel file but did solve this issue. I think the AKOperationEffectDSPKernel needs similar update (of sporth code handling) too.

Thanks

The changes I made yesterday fixed problems that were demonstrated by errors that appeared in playgrounds.  All of the effects playgrounds seemed to work though.  Can you point me to an example or playground that is showing an error?

I tried the latest develop framework of Audiokit today. This issue is still there. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
