Hi,

This week I discovered PAM: Pi Audio Monitor:

PAM is an is designed to run on a Raspberry Pi with touchscreen.

It includes number of useful audio monitoring tools, including:
- Various types of digital meters
- Channel delay measurement
- Distortion measurements
- Level monitoring
- Recording of incoming audio
- Test tone generators

PAM can take in audio from a soundcard, Pi HAT or from an AES67 stream.

There are some very impressive screenshots in the help directory:

I think I need to buy and Pi Official touch screen and give it a go!

Hi,

I've just been looking through some of the specs for the new Raspberry Pi compute module CM4 that has just been released, and one thing that caught my eye is that it has an onboard gigabit Phy with IEEE1588 support.

I haven't found a datasheet for it yet, but from the specs page it seems to handle a big chunk of the time-stamping onboard the chip, and has sync_in and sync_out pins for the local clock.

No clue what the software support/integration for that is going to be like yet, but makes the Pi even more appealing for AES67 projects!
