hi folks
here is an outline of the NESTA R&D fund proposal that we are working
on. In essence it is an anti clash Google calendar which also helps
organisations plan events and identify opportunities for collaboration.
The great bit is that it's free best wishes Peter

Yes I like the idea of this a lot. As you're using the events listing
I set up for Bridgnorth Festival as a model I'd definitely like to be
involved in this too.

Google calendar is definitely the way forward initially, although I'd
suggest turning the RSS feed suggestion on its head. Initially Google
Calendar would be a useful cheap (free except for time spent)
solution, but long term you'd probably want to import the RSS feeds
and have the option to process and serve the data outside of Google
calendar. It's still a great way to get started and very useful to
individual organisations, as well as the aggregated clash diary :-)

There's even the probability of extra functionality coming to Google
calendar to integrate with Google+
