to Audi CVT Issues
My cvt went out at 54,000. I contacted Audi and they agreed they have
issues with cvt but refuse to Recall or cover 100%. I did get them to
pay 75% but all said and done still cost me 7,000 up front because car
was down for a month. They had to order parts and I had to wait for
service to get me an appt. Took about 1 month with no vehicle.
This being the case I had to purchase another vehicle because Audi
would not give me loaner which cost me 5000. and the repair was
approx. 2000.
I found out from a co-worker that he had similar problem with his 2006
Honda van. Honda gave him a free loaner and covered everything except
400 for labor . Both situations were the same, we were both slightly
out of warranty. Honda does a lot more for their customers. Nissan I
here is doubling their warranty for their cars with CVT's wish Audi
would do the same!
