to Audi CVT Issues
I am from the Caribbean. I am the second owner of an Audi a4 1.8T (b6
model) doing 110k on the clock.
It has been my favorite and fun to drive up until 3 months ago. I've
experienced the judder while the engine builds up between 1.7 - 2k and
after that everything is smooth. Carried it to the dealership and they
suggested that I change the transmission oil and it should help. After
paying 3k+ to change the T oil it was back to perfect...for a while.
The same problem came back after about 2 weeks. Went back to the
dealership and they advised me that I had to change the CLUTCH PACK
costing me $24,000...Could you imagine that!....I am in no position to
change a part for that price after paying 150k for the vehicle 2 years
ago. It is very disturbing to see that I am not the only person that
has experienced this EXACT PROBLEM.
I hold Audi fully responsible for this and think they should replace
this part NO COST.
Imagine that Audi manufactured a luxury vehicle with an expiry date on
a major part!
I WILL NEVER BUY AN AUDI AGAIN and I will make sure everyone knows of
this big issue with these model vehicles.
SHAME ON YOU AUDI.
