Our much missed Checkpoint used to have a section up the back for sightings of Audax Oz Jerseys in foreign or remote places.

So when I should have been out riding on a very nice day I found myself doing some admin work and distractedly found myself looking at the ACP PBP facebook page, scrolling through some recently posted photos and what pops up but an AudaxOz Super Randonneur Series jersey on a masked person..

Perhaps swapped at PBP 2019?

The ride seems to be a route planning for their BRM 100th anniversary ride (next year?), I see from our next year ride calendar (Sept 2021) that we also are having 100th anniversary rides as well as our own 40th anniversary ones, hopefully we are over Covid by then. The 40th prompted me to re-read David Minter's excellent "history" on the Audax Oz (and RUSA) sites. Are the 40th anniversary original 600 recreation rides going to follow the original routes, from Sydney I guess pretty much down the old Hume (where it still exists) as it is a bit longer than 600 to Albury by any other route, do we know the original route?
