Editing is faster. Zooming and fitting is definitely not faster.

Is ", projects" redundant?

> "a cross-fade effect"
Can we clarify that this is "Crossfade Clips"?

I changed projects to 'audio'. The phrasing is still a bit clumsy, but I
think it is important not to give the impression that Audacity will happily
handle 24 hour recordings.

I clarified that it is cross-fade for clips.

I think the text in the Release Notes is (more) correct "Much faster
editing with larger projects". Fit and Zoom can keep you waiting for 20
seconds in one hour of audio and 30 seconds in two hours.

I agree beyond about two hours, edits are not "instantaneous" on Windows
(though they are on Mac up to about 5 hours), nonetheless about 4 - 5
seconds to make a cut in 15 hours of audio is much better than 30 - 60
seconds that we had before on Windows.

I think it important not to imply that changing the view position in long
projects has got any faster. So I would much prefer to say something
like "Edits are now processed much faster in longer projects of a few hours
duration."
