Teisho Tonight, Working Bee on Sunday, Workshops

There will be a teisho tonight, entitled Saying Yes.

This Saturday there is an Introductory Workshop, and the following Saturday (24 May) there'll be a Day of Renewal (with lunch), which is open to anyone who has been to a workshop. For more information see www.aucklandzen.org.nz/Home/AZC-Activities/day-of-renewal.

This Sunday at 11:00 there will be a working bee at 52 Princes St after the usual sitting with dokusan (8:30), and a substantial morning tea (10:30) -- both at Church St. The work go for a couple of hours at most. Tasks will include a small amount of demolition, the removal of some doors and their surrounds for reuse, repair of walls in the future zendo space, some shelf assembly and possibly some cushion stuffing and/or sewing. A small crew with the right skills and tools is needed. If you'd like to help, or can bring some food for the morning tea, please let us know by Friday by emailing in...@aucklandzen.org.nz.
