VESAK COMING SOON -- SUNDAY 4 MAY

Vesak is our most popular family event of the year, and can be a fun way to introduce your children or grandchildren to the Centre (and to the Dharma). You can read a description of the event here, or check out photos of past years here.

If you plan to attend, please let us know by emailing in...@aucklandzen.org.nz, including names and ages of any children you are bringing. 

There'll be sitting first from 8:30 to 9:20, then the festivities will begin at 9:30, including the story of the Buddha's birth, chanting, a Jataka Tale from the Sleeping Sage (if we can wake him up), birthday cake, face-painting, and more.
