I am CTO @ BeyondTheStory (http://www.beyondthestory.com), the company was  established  in New Zealand, 2005.

We develop innovative, multi-media  publishing solutions that help publishers and other media businesses use digital  technologies to make additional money from their assets in a fast, scalable and affordable  way.

Our lead product is the world’s first automated publishing platform. It uses proprietary AI

and advanced authoring tools to transform a book from flat text to a fully immersive user

experience - bringing the story to life with interactive, multi-medias embedded content

which is relevant to where the reader is in the story.  This can include images, active links,

audio, video, 3D content, live broadcasting and real-time updates.

To expand our team in Auckland, we are searching for a senior rails programmer, we will work in a great creative environment together  with our game developers and 3d artists to be a part of the evolution of interactive books.

We search for somebody  with extensive experience of developing sophisticated applications involving Database Optimisation, Rake tasks and complex web UI using Javascript toolkits.
