Hi Vinh,

Your writing skill is actually good enough and suitable for IELTS. So, keep improving it day by day by writing something in English. It works this way.

By the way, please take a look at the revised answer below. Basically, the ideas stay the same but the word use is a bit different.

Needless to say, it seems hard, not to say impossible, for students to equally master all the four English skills: listening, reading, writing and speaking. To be specific, I am of the opinion that the most difficult of all is speaking. As we hardly have opportunities to contact English native people, we may only try to imitate their accent without any effective daily practice. Considering the other three skills, if we try our best, it would not be so hard to make progress. To my belief, we can become experts in reading and writing just by studying as much vocabulary as possible and learning grammar rules. Moreover, there is no need to meet with English-speaking people to improve these skills because we can learn through books and dictionaries. Besides, listening to CDs is a really good solution to improve our listening skill as well. Thus, I maintain that speaking is the hardest one.

As this email is sent to many people, most of whom are learning IELTS, feel free to reply to all with your answer so that other people can benefit. I would like to call this email an open forum for everyone who wishes to practise their English.

The first question is:

What do you think is the most difficult English skill?

Best regards.
