DROP-IN STORY TIME THURSDAYS @ 4:30 No registration required.  Please drop in. Open to all ages.

BOOK BITES WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 9 @ 5:00 This is a book club for kids ages 9-12.  This month we’ll be discussing Edgar and Allan Poe: a Tell-Tale Start by Gordon McAlpine.  You can pick up a copy of the book at the library. Registration is required. Please contact the Auburn Public Library at 508-832-7790 to register.

READ WITH ME TUESDAY, OCTOBER 8 @ 4:30 This is a book club for kids ages 6-8.  This month we’ll be discussing Mysteries According to Humphrey by Betty Birney.  You can pick up a copy of the book at the library. Registration is required. Please contact the Auburn Public Library at 508-832-7790 to register.

CRAFT TIME TUESDAY, OCTOBER 22 @ 4:30 For Halloween we’re making a tissue box monster.  All ages welcome, registration is required.  Please contact the Auburn Public Library at 508-832-7790 to register.

GIGGLES AND GOBLINS HALLOWEEN PARTY TUESDAY, OCTOBER 29 @ 6:00 Join us for wonderfully frightening stories by story teller Rona Leventhal  (story telling performance appropriate for ages 5-9).  Afterwards well be having some fun and games with trick or treating.  Don’t forget your costume.  All ages welcome. Space is limited and registration is required.

FAMILY READING CLUB THURSDAY, OCTOBER 31 @ 4:30 Kickoff for an online reading adventure for the whole family.  November is Family Reading month and we’re starting early.  This is the first day of registration and we’re sharing a story and giving a demo for those who are new to our online program.  This event is open to all ages – yes even Mom and Dad.

TEEN ADVISORY BOARD WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 16 @ 5:00 Open to ages 10-18.  Come give your input about young adult programming.  No registration necessary.  Attending this event does count toward volunteer hours.  Hope to see you there.

ALL ABOUT THE BOOK Held the 2nd Thursday of each month.  Book club for ages 14+ (13 years-olds accepted with parental permission)  In October we’ll be discussing Far Far Away by Tom McNeal.  You may pick up this month’s selection at the library.  Registration required.

CELEBRATE TEEN READ WEEK Teen Read week is October 14-20, but we’re celebrating all month long.  Join our online program and share what you’ve been reading.  All active participants (ages 10-18) will be entered in a chance for a special prize.  To join visit www.readsinma.org/auburn      Special event: Thursday, October 17 Cupcake Challenge - Join us as Nina Hunt works with us to create cupcakes that will inspire us to seek the unknown.  This event is open to ages 10-18.  Space is limited and registration required.  

HALLOWEEN TEEN LOCK-IN FRIDAY, OCTOBER 25 @ 6:00 Come celebrate the spooky at our after hours event.  Don’t forget to wear a costume.  Space is limited and registration is required. Please contact the Auburn Public Library at 508-832-7790 to register.
