Programs for Children and Families

All events for children and families require registration unless stated otherwise.

Drop-In Story Time

Thursdays @ 4:30.  Open to children of all ages.  Come listen to a few stories and do a craft.  No registration required.

Story Time at the Mall

1st Tuesday @ 12:00.  Open to children of all ages.  Join us at the Auburn Mall for some great stories and a slice of pizza.  Done in partnership with the Auburn Mall and Pizzeria Regina.  No registration required.

Book Bites

Book Club for ages 9-12.  We discuss a different book every month and have a ton of fun. Wednesday, April 9 @ 5:00 : Zip by Ellie Rollins

Read with Me

Book Club for ages 6-8 with their grownup.  We discuss a different book every month and have a ton of fun. Tuesday, April 8 @ 4:30 : Annie and Snowball and the Tea Cup Club by Cynthia Rylant

LEGO CLUB

4th Saturday @ 10:00 and the 4th Tuesday @ 4:00.  All ages welcome.  LEGOS will be provided.  You may bring your own LEGOS at your own risk.  An optional monthly challenge will be issued.  No registration required. (LEGO club is held on the 3rd Tuesday in April). No registration required.

McDonald’s Story Time

Monday, April 14 4:00-7:00 Celebrate Library Week with this special event.  This is a Friends’ fundraiser so come support your library.  Includes story time, balloons, craft and more. No registration required. (Flier is attached)

Toto the Tornado Kitten

Wednesday, April 23 @ 3:00 Author Jonathan Hall will be visiting with Toto to share their special story.

Vinny’s Little Puppet Show

Friday, April 25 @ 11:00.  Vinny Lovegrove from Toe Jam Puppet Band will present his little puppet show. 

Programs for Teens

All programs for teens are open to ages 10 - 18 and require registration.

Advisory Board Meeting

3rd Wednesday @ 5:00.  All members welcome.  Come help us plan out teen programming and our materials ordering.  You can find our agenda online at www.auburnlibrarytab.blogspot.com.  Why join? You can earn volunteer hours and participate in “TAB only” events.

All About the Book

3rd Wednesday @ 6:30.  Book group for ages 14+ (13 year olds with parental permission)   Wednesday, April 2 @ 6:00: The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater; Wednesday, May 2 @ 6:00: Cinder by Marissa Meyer

Lock-In

Friday, April 4 @ 6:00.  The last lock-in of the year.  Our last chance at flash-light hide and seek before the days lengthen. Space is limited.

McDonald Fundraiser

Monday, April 14 4:00-7:00.  The Friends of the Library are having a fundraising event at McDonald’s. Stop by and show your support. (Flier is attached)

Movie Night

Thursday, April 24 @ 6:00 A night at the movies without the cost.  We’ll supply the movie and popcorn, but feel free to bring your own favorite snack as well.  We’re showing Catching Fire (PG-13).
