Please remember that all events require registration unless noted otherwise

Kids:
  • Drop-In Story Time: Thursdays @ 4:30 - Open to all ages, no registration required.  Will resume Sept 26
  • Book Bites: Wednesday, September 11 @ 5:00 - Book Club for ages 9-12. This month we're discussing Ungifted by Gordon Korman.  You can pick up a copy of this book at the library.
  • Read with Me: Tuesday, September 10 @ 4:30 - Book club for ages 6-8 and their grownup.  This month we're working with Mr. Putter and Tabby Feed the Fish by Cynthia Rylant.  You can pick up a copy of this book at the library.
  • Fairy Houses: Monday, September 16 @ 4:30 - Hands on activity open to ages 4+.  Kids will be constructing their own fairy houses.  While it is not necessary you may bring your own natural building materials if you like.  
  • Registration for Story Time will begin on September 23.  Please visit or phone the library to register. No registrations will accepted through email.  No early registrations will be accepted.
    • Rug Bugs: Tuesdays 10:30 - ages 6-30 months.  Class will share a story, a selection of action nursery rhymes and music with free play.  Class runs about 20-30 min
    • Ducklings: Wednesdays 10:30 - ages 2.5-3 years.  Class will share stories, finger funs, rhymes and music.  Class runs about 30 min
    • Zooligans: Thursdays 10:30 - ages 4 and up.  Class will share stories, finger fund and a craft.  Class runs about 30 min.

Teens (ages 10+):
  • Drop-In: Wednesdays 2:30-4:30.  Open time for computer and gaming equipment usage.  No registration required
  • All About the Book: Thursday, September 12 @ 6:00 - Book club for ages 14+ (13 year-olds welcome with parental permission).  This month we're discussing Pulse by Patrick Carman.  You can pick up a copy of this book at the library.
  • Smarty-pants: Friday, September 27 @ 6:00 - Come test how smart you are with this fun trivia game.  Find out if you are a real smarty-pants.

Adults:
  • The Beauty of Auburn Photo Contest - sponsored by the Friends of the Auburn Public Library.  Take your own photos or submit old-time family photos.  A small contribution is requested with each photo submission.  Dates for submission are Sept 18 10 am-12 pm, Sept 19 10 am-12 pm &6-8 pm, Sept 20 10 am-12 pm & 4-5:30 pm and Sept 21 11 am-1 pm.  Presentation of photos, awarding of prizes and refreshments will be held on October 3 6- 8 pm,
