Speak Back to Corporate Advertising This Saturday
We will plaster the city with free spaces (stickers, that
is!), replicating a project first done in New York called The Bubble Project,
check out more at http://www.thebubbleproject.com...
"Our communal spaces are
being overrun by ads...Once considered public, these spaces are increasingly
being seized by corporations to propagate their messages solely in the interest
of profit. We, the public, are both the target and the victim of this attack.
The bubble project is the counterattack, the bubbles are the ammunition.
Once placed on ads, these
stickers transform the corporate monologue into an open dialogue...More bubbles
mean more freed spaces, more reactions to current events, and most importantly,
more imagination and fun...."
Want to be a part of it?
