About the position:
Main internship task will be to conduct research on human activities management and the design of protected areas to be used in papers submitted to the Antarctic Treaty Consultative Meeting (ATCM) in May 2017. This position is an excellent opportunity for a graduate student to learn about international environmental diplomacy, policy, and decision-making.

The internship will last from February through April. ASOC provides a stipend of $1000. We ask applicants to be able to commit to working 10-15 hours per week at our offices in Dupont Circle. To apply, please send a resume and a short introductory email (no cover letters, please) to Claire Christian, ASOC Interim Executive Director, at Claire.c...@asoc.org.
