True Effect of Latency on HTTP Load Time

Hi folks,

I plotted the time it took to retrieve 200 files (from 1-200KB in
size) from two locations.
The results show how seriously latency impacts on web performance.

BTW, I'm still finding ping times to AWS Singapore are around 180ms
are almost as high as to California.

August sounds great to me.

I was planning on organising a meet in July, but got a little busy with things & dropped the ball a little there.

I think most people in the group are fairly new to the cloud, so I figured, If people are interested, I could give a short talk on "switching" & explain how we're doing things at Mekentosj?

If SCT are able to host again, that'd be great, otherwise we can hunt down a venue ;p.
