Amazon Web Services Newbie Experience

Hi all,

On the back of last weeks Amazon Web Services Meetup I took the
challenge of creating an on demand demo of one of my java web
applications. What I wanted was to launch an instance of the
application after a user filled a form on my website (running on a
Joomla! install) using AWS apis. I've written a post on my experiences

which may be an interesting read for any newbies to AWS or more
experienced users. I've included links to the tutorials and resources
I used. Hope its useful to someone.
