Cloud SIG Event: Possible ramifications of the NBN to Cloud computing
First Cloud SIG Event of the year!
The Cloud SIG is about the emerging world of computing that is about
to change the way we do computing. All subjects to do with the Cloud
are covered.
The speakers are the people who are involved in the creation of this
new movement, and the audience is made up of those who have to
implement cloud computing.
Light refreshments will be provided.
On-line registration is appreciated.
Biography:
Dr Jan Newmarch
Head of ICT (Higher Education), Box Hill Institute
Dr Jan Newmarch is Head of ICT (Higher Ed) at Box Hill Institute where
he administers a degree in network computing.
He is also adjunct senior research fellow at Monash University.
His interests lie in distributed computing and user interfaces and he
has published 4 books and over 80 papers.
