Hey fellow makers,

I was a member at ATX Hackerspace ways back ago, and got my business up started there.  I now have a cnc / laser shop in South Austin.  I'm looking to hire someone part time asap as a laser operator / shop assistant.

Schedule:  PT 25-30 hrs per week, M-F 10-5
Asap hiring (fulfilling a very large large mask order)

Experience:

-Laser Operation experience preferred
-CNC Experience is a plus, but not necessary
- Basic wood shop / tool experience is necessary
-Ability to lift 50+ lbs (moving plywood mostly)

Responsibilities:

Laser operation, loading sheets onto cnc, shop organization / cleaning

About us:

I began my maker journey years ago at Hackerspace, eventually got my own business started providing laser and cnc services.  We have a 1200sq ft workshop in South Austin.  We work with a number of local businesses providing cutting and engraving.  I also design and make large scale art installations for festivals and burns.

Equipment:
x2 100w c02 lasers, x1 5x10 CNC router, paint booth, various tools

BONUS:  You get access to the shop for after hours personal projects :)

If interested shoot me an email a resume or project experience at in...@fluxcnc.com
My website is www.fluxcnc.com if you want to check out what we do exactly.

Once again, thanks Hackerspace for allowing me to find my niche.  Wouldn't be here now without ya'll.
