Beagle Bone and LaunchPad Classes

Last Saturday we wrapped up the first run of the Launchpad class series. Austin is interested in teaching it again and asked me to take a poll of student interest. See his website for more information on the class material.

Austin is also interested in teaching a Beagle Bone class. Any interest here?

I just got some Zigbee modules.

Yes, we are planning on repeating the launchpad class! I will announce it when we have an official start date.

If you're still in planning stages regarding beaglebone I might be interested if any classes are between Sunday and Wednesday. I thought I would just go the book route on this one but if you guys cover so cool stuff I might have a go at it so long as it fits in my schedule. For launchpad a friend and I might be interested. He told me about it and said something like, "manly, chesthair growing programming on assembly but its costs less than 2 dollars!" Idk, he is crazy sometimes but I do understand its cheap and can do something cool stuff (I mean its got processing power). Programming has yet to be something I can even do (not counting basic html, processing or arduino) but I'm willing to take a launchpad class if its the type of thing ideal for making things that I could sell. My friend keeps telling me about stuff we can make and then sell. We're trying to make a business (End of what I can say without being sued). Maybe I'm a horrible trendy but there's something about that beaglebone.
