I'd like to make it to the next meeting, so I thought I'd start the
suggestion train on a possible date. I'd suggest a Monday or
Wednesday, May 10th, 12th, 17th, 19th. Seems not too soon, not too
far from now. My Tuesdays are booked for the month.

Thoughts?

Hi all,

I'm new here, and hope to make it to the next meeting!  Any of those days are good for me.  What time is the meeting, usually?

I think I'm good for any of those days.

Being already up on the earlier of these dates, how about the 17th,
7pm-ish? Spiderhouse seemed to be a decent place with those big
tables, but I am open to other suggestions.

I can share/show the buttonmashmusic code and setup, some hardware
(spacemouse, ps3 eye) that works with sc and/or processing, spacey
intruders, etc.

I can't make the 17th, but I'm a new guy so if you don't schedule around me, I'll understand :)

If we do it tonight, three people will probably show up tops. Lets do
the 19th and I will send out tweets, emails etc?

Is everyone ok with the 19th?

Works for me.

19th is good for me as long as it is at Spiderhouse, or somewhere
busable, as I will be carless that evening.

So.. it may still be 3 people? (:

And does anyone have a better location to suggest?

Ok, 19th, at Spiderhouse, at 7pm? I'll find us a big table, (probably
in the back, since it's usually less crowded there). No set topic,
project show&tell encouraged.

Last time I put a little sign on the table. I'll do it again.

I'm new here, but I hope to attend the meeting. Is there way to
identify the group? A flare? A flag? Maybe some kind of gang sign we
make with our hands?

shirt will probably be far uglier.

I enjoyed the meeting, thanks to everyone who made it. If we can come
up with another location that might have outlets, and more space
available on mondays-wednesdays, that might work a bit better.

If anyone wants any of the processing/supercollider code for the stuff
I showed just let me know.

Hi,

gurzil, I 'd be interested in your processing code for your 3D world
with hundreds of cubes (or just a few teapots) . I am thinking of
trying to port it to openframeworks as an exercise and see if I get
different rendering performance compared to processing (I can only try
OF and not cinder, because I am running linux. Afaik cinder is not
supported on linux)

weevil, keep us posted on the animatronics / blinking puppet / arduino
project, it sounds fun as well.

Also, if anyone has ideas for prototype projects that they don't have
enough time to get their hands on, it might be neat to share them with
the group, as a starting projects for beginners (aka me and others).

Give me a day or two to make it a bit more legible. Also, it will not
be usable without 4 analog inputs of some kind, in my code accepted
via OSC. I'll try to include notes on what values come in on those
paths.
