Need help with AS3

I'm looking for a bit of help with a pet project which uses Flash to
parse
xml files and then triggers movies based on the input of those files.

For instance, I'm setting up 2-5 sensors which send data to
Pachube.com. I'm
using Flash to get the xml and parse it to the node I'm interested in.
Where
I need help is with is AS code which will trigger a movie based on the
output. If the sensor data is above 30, say, it might trigger movie B,
whereas if the sensor data reads less than 30 it should trigger movie
A.

Probably this isn't hard to do for someone who knows what they are
doing -
I'm just not proficient enough (or at all) in AS to get it started,
and
would rather spend my time tweaking the idea.

If you bring it to the next meeting, I will try to persuade one of my
friends who writes actionscript to attend.

Which brings me to- do you guys want to meet up soon? I have been
working on an inform7 project I can show, but otherwise I am up for
just an atopic chat, everybody show their current projects type
thing.
