REMINDER: MEETUP: Mutual Mobile, 6PM, Tuesday, Nov. 8

It's time again for our bi-weekly meetup. I've got us slated to continue
working on the chemistry balancing program [1]. Tomorrow I'm going to hunt for
more problems, in case anyone's ready for more. Also, I'm rounding up snippets
of open source code that I'm interested in discussing as a group.

Date: Tuesday, November 8, 2011
Time: 6PM to 8:30PM-ish (however long people want to hack)
Place: Mutual Mobile Offices, 1712 Rio Grande (short walk from campus)
Agenda: continue working on or review chem equation balancing program

Mutual Mobile moved to the building across the street (from 1709 to 1712).
Getting to the room in the new building is really easy. Just go up the stairs,
and the doors open up into the room we meet in.

Regarding [1], we've realized that the problem is more or less a simple linear
algebra problem, which needs to be set up and solved after a little string
parsing. We're not too worried about students implementing an LA solver, so
most of us are just using off-the-shelf libraries for matrix-solving (like the
Colt library for Java [2]).
