You all may remember from all the planning posts last week, but tomorrow is an
open forum which we're bringing to campus. Come for the discussion. Come for
the pizza that Rackspace is kindly providing. The details are below, and I've

Open Forum: Exploring Careers in Software

Time: 7PM to 9PM
Place: UT campus, Engineering-Science Building, ENS 116

Join an open forum with experienced software professionals who've worked at a
wide array of businesses including self-owned companies, small startups,
consulting firms, DoD contractors and larger companies including AT&T, IBM,
eBay, and Rackspace (opinions expressed will be the participants', not the
companies').

Break through the stereotypes, cliches, and assumptions; get first-hand
accounts of what careers are really like in the software industry and advice on
how to navigate your options.
