testing posting through Gmane on Emacs

Hi,

I hope everyone will pardon this test. I'm switching from slrn to Emacs
for posting to mailing lists that I'm proxying through NNTP (using
Gmane). I thought this group might be the most understanding of the
test email for this new client.
