Meetings to Monday, Code Review Date

Hi all,

Moving Bi-Weekly Meetings to Monday:
So, we've had a bit of fumbling around trying to get a date set that a) doesn't conflict with Michael's and my class schedules and b) doesn't conflict with IEEE, ASM, etc. meetings so we can share publicity and not bleed each other's members. It seems to be that the best day of the week to fit these constraights are Mondays. So we will move meetings to bi-weekly Mondays from 6-8 pm. These meetings will be held for the rest of the semester in ENS 313, the social/study hall on the third floor of ENS.

Code Review Date:
We wanted to start our semester off strong with the student-led code review event , which we hoped would gain us new members and enough momentum to carry us smoothly through the rest of the semester. This has obviously fallen through, with this week marking the 3rd week of the semester. Part of this is to blame on trying to match up schedules, but I definitely take some of the blame for not getting details nailed down *much* sooner. Ideally, we should have started to plan this, get rooms reserved, etc., late last semester. Live and learn. We will definitely have a retrospective after this event so we can figure out how to avoid these for next time.

Anyways, I propose that we hold the code review event Monday, February 13th. That gives us two weeks to plan, poster, and publicize with other orgs, which should be a decent amount of time. I will get a room reserved ASAP. Any suggestions or comments about this proposed date are appreciated.

Summary (TL;DR):
Our normal bi-weekly meetings will be on Mondays at 6-8pm in ENS 313 for the rest of the semester. Our first meeting will be the code review and it will be held Monday Feb 13th in a location TBA (I'll announce as soon as I get a room reservation). I have a class on MW 5-6:30, so I will probably just have to miss the first 20-30 minutes of each meeting, hopefully not a big deal.

Thanks Lane for taking the lead making this all happen. I really appreciate
the support. This schedule looks good for me, and I'm looking forward to
supporting it.
