Or still have a fixture or two stashed away in the closet?

I need to get my hands on some T5HO fixtures ASAP and will loan you a verrrrrrrrry nice fixture to run in the meantime.  No working bulbs required as i'll be using my own.  Gotta get an experiment running and sold all my T5's a year ago...doh!  If you have anything, any size, please let me know; 2-bulb and 4-bulb fixtures, preferably units like TEK or Coralife, would be preferred but all offers considered.

Thanks!

Cara

ps--And yes, many more details on this experiment at our next meeting...say, 11 or 12 January?

Well, I have a home built T5, took a fixture from home depot, exactly like this: http://www.homedepot.com/p/Lithonia-Lighting-2-Light-High-Output-Multi-Volt-T5-Compact-White-Strip-Light-ZR-2-54T5HO-MVOLT-GEB10PS/203137160#

and made a 2x4 box around it just long enough to sit on the rim of the tank.  If it is a short enough experiment, could you buy one of these and return it when you are done?

Unfortunately not, half the output of this light will be lost without high-quality reflectors.  Thanks for the suggestion though.  I'm really kicking myself for selling my 4-bulb TEKlight now...even Coralife's starting to look like a decent option.  Rrrrghhhh.

What, you don't want to buy a mylar camping blanket and rig it?
There is this too... http://www.tapplastics.com/product/plastics/plastic_sheets_rolls/mylar_mirrored/256 probably available at Regal Plastics, if you need it a particular size right now.

Just kidding, I used to do salt water tanks, but switched to Walstead method when I made the switch to fresh water, so I know how important lighting can be.

No rigging it on this one, there's a lot riding on this project.  Now, my experiments on my home tanks are another story, sigh....
