Hi guys,

I've already emailed a few of you about this, so ignore if you've read this already:

CartoDB is looking for someone local to Austin to give a talk about CartoDB's editor & API at a hackathon on November 15th. It's a free/volunteer gig, but they would bump the speaker's CartoDB account allowances (storage space & tables) for free.

Details: the hackathon is at Capital Factory, and they have a 1-hour slot. They're looking for someone to do a 40-minute talk (plus Q&A) on "intro to CartoDB's editor & API", with some examples (you don't need much CartoDB experience, just be willing to poke at it and make a map visualization or two: they can provide product demos & examples for the talk).

Disclosure: I was originally going to do a shorter talk for them at this event, but their needs changed to a longer talk, and I don't have the bandwidth to prep something like that now.

No obligation or pressure at all - just passing this on in case anyone among us is interested. Let me know if so, and I'll put you in touch with the right folks.

Happy Halloween, atx-osg'ers!

Sara
