Community event this weekend: OSM bike-mapping with Mapillary

Greetings, atx-osg'ers!

The folks over at Mapillary have gotten in touch to let us know about a 3-day event they're running in Austin starting this weekend (March 14-16). They'll be here for SXSW, and this weekend are renting some bikes to facilitate mapping imagery of Butler Trail. They're inviting us (first-come, first-serve for the bike seats) to join them any/all days this weekend to help map.

Saturday - March 14th - from 10am to 1:00pm.

• This meet up will be done in conjunction with the EpicQueen team. So women entrepreneurs and in tech please come by and help spread the word.
• The fine shop at EasCycle will be our starting point:
• Address for East Cycle is 1619 E Cesar Chavez, Austin, TX, 78702
• We will pick up the rental bikes at the bike shop at 10am. So be sharp.
• There will be 5 helmets for the meet up.
• We will have 5 bikes available.
• Then we head south to the Edward Rendon Sr. Park to start mapping the Butler Trail.
• We will do it heading East to West.
• After the bike ride, Nearsoft will be sponsoring some refreshments for thirsty bikers.

Sunday - March 15th - from 2pm to 5pm

• This meet up will be done in conjunction with the Austin Maptime Group. So if you want to mingle with the local GIS and Geocachers from Austin. This will be a great opportunity.
• The JW Marriot will be our starting point:
• Address for JW Marriot is 110 E 2nd St, Austin, TX 78701
• There will be 7 helmets for the meet up.
• We will have 7 bikes available.
• Then we head south to The Ashton monument to start mapping from there. 
  
• We will do it heading West to East in the bike trail.
  
• After the bike ride, Nearsoft will be sponsoring some refreshments for thirsty bikers.

Monday - March 16th - 2pm to 5:00pm

• This meet up will be done in conjunction with Nearsoft (who will be sponsoring refreshments for the bike rides). We will invite Mexican and Latin American Entrepreneurs to the meet up, so this will be a great opportunity to know a couple of Startups from south of the border.
• The Austin Convention center will be our starting point:
• Address for the Austin Convention Center is 500 E Cesar Chavez St Austin, TX 78701
• There will be 6 helmets for the meet up.
• We will have 6 bikes available.
• Then we head south to the Austin Rowing Club at 74 Trinity Street, Austin, TX 78701.
• We will do it heading West to East in the bike trail.
  
• After the bike ride, Nearsoft will be sponsoring some refreshments for thirsty bikers.
