I have a completely new lunch location suggestion for this week - The Black Star Co-op, located near Airport and Lamar.

They have beer and good food and flexible seating, including an outdoor area. If anyone works near the extensive Austin train system, there is a train stop right there.

More info here:

OK, second suggestion - Verts, which has what they call "Berlin inspired kebap" - basically, start with a greek Gyro, then add different veggies and such.

They have several locations in Austin - I am suggesting the one on West Anderson Lane, in the same shopping center as the new Dragon's Lair, hopdoddy burgers, new Precision Camera, and Terra Toys.

I checked, they are open for lunch. They also have the flexible seating, outdoor area, and beer (although they don't brew their own).

Detecting a trend.  Apparently, Steve likes to drink beer in flexible seating whilst playing with toys (and taking pictures).  I knew I liked him.

Verts: Several of the folks in our office have been there and given it the thumbs up.

So Verts is the winner this week?

Sounds like it. I heard no 'Nays', so Verts it is!

Here's a GMaps link for those who aren't sure where it is:
