Can I use ATV boot loader to install Openmediavault?

Hi I have an old ATV and I was thinking maybe to use it as a git server

I forgot to mention that openmediavault is a linux based on debian 7. Here is the site: http://www.openmediavault.org.

I guess it should be straight forward to implement this idea as i see there is a way to install linux, and this is a pretty naked distro.
