boot via GRUB (Legacy)

I now have a mint install with GRUB Legacy. went back to the 0.6 ATV
bootloader because all I got was screen rolling on the 1.0 version.
I see that the following line should allow ATV to use the menu.lst
#search for mb_boot_tv, grub and syslinux/ioslinux config --auto boot
default
"atv-boot=auto"
is this correct? If not how ?
I also want to pint out that the main page seems to confuse "atv-boot"
and "atv_boot" this should get cleaned up as I am still not sure which
is correct!
