Chris as usual you have impressed me with the under spoken...I
am long retired, but I am finally hearing a positive
PUBLIC response from BOTH UNION OFFICERS AND MEMBERSHIP. I wasn't, aware of
the Radio broadcast until now, but As a former radio announcer, I must
say,,,,THANK YOU JACKIE ,,You have given PROFESSIONAL
TRANSIT ASSOCIATES the voice that has been missing for the past
30 years...WE ARE METRO. The rider ship only has Managements
spin on WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO AND HAVE DONE for them ...THANKS
CHRIS JACKIE and everyone that make me proud to have
active.

Just in
case there wasn't a shoutout from anyone, I want to take a moment to salute
ATU Local 689 President Jackie Jeter, for her commentaries on WAMU, including

I think it only helps anytime our members, and especially the executives
of the union, be it in print with op-ed columns, or audio and visual
commentary via radio, sources like YouTube, or television ads, speak out to
give the unions point of view, and come off very well doing so.
