Check in the Mail?

Today when we got our Metro checks (we get ours when delivered to the building on Tuesday)  they had gone from a blue background, to one that is grey, but they also had a PAID First Class postage stamp on them.

There is a message  below the details of the check to make sure the home address is correct and if not notify by December 18.

It appears we are about to get check stubs sent through the mail instead of handed out at work.

Does anyone know about this possible upcoming change?

Someone apparently forwarded my e-mail from the list yesterday asking about the new look of the checks with postage. Andrea Burnside in turn sent this to me today. I assume she is not on the list so any reply all that she might have sent would not have come to the list

Thanks for copying me on your email regarding the new look of the check.  I looked into this and found out that:

 

·         We are currently not changing our distribution process

·         The request for verification of home address is a normal process in preparation of printing and distribution of the 2009 W-2’s

·         The different look of the check stock is because we are using rather than discarding old check stock.  We are trying to use Metro’s resources wisely and efficiently.
